What is a recordable children’s e-book?

A recordable children’s e-book is a digital storybook where you can record yourself narrating the story. Make Momentos e-books are designed for kids to enjoy, but are so easy to use that they can recorded by children or adults alike. Our e-books also have a totally unique feature that includes a video recording element, making the experience even more special and memorable.

How does the recording feature work?

After you purchase an e-book on our website, there are two ways to start the recording process. Either click the link that appears in the Welcome email you receive, or click the orange My Library link at the top of each page on our website. Then simply follow the login steps, go to the Owned tab in your Library, and click on the cover of your e-book to begin. Recording is done one page at a time and your work saves automatically. You can re-record any page as often as you need.

Are the recordable e-books suitable for all age groups?

Our recordable e-books are mainly for young children ages 10 and under. Both adults and early readers can enjoy the personalized experience of recording their own voices.

What are recordable children’s e-cards?

Recordable children’s e-cards are digital greeting cards you can personalize. They function just like our recordable e-books, but there are only two pages to record. It’s a creative and special way to send encouragement, love and “hellos” to loved ones.

I’m not a technical whiz. Will I be able to figure out how to record my e-book?

Yes – don’t stress! We designed our platform so it’s easy to use. No matter what you click, there is nothing you can break – we promise! After you purchase an e-book or e-card, you’ll receive step-by-step instructions and a brief video tutorial. We’ve also included helpful tips built right into the app to guide you.
